First time visiting Dr. Shaia - great bedside manners, very personable and easy to talk to about my situation.
Dr. Harry Shaia has a great bedside manner. He has repaired torn rotator cuff previously. When I broke my ankle and leg this week, I requested him to treat my injury. It’s easy for me to communicate with him and likewise easy to understand as he explains things to me. He gives clear instructions and motivates me to push as needed without insulting. I highly recommend Dr. Harry Shia for all your knee or hip needs. The Ortho group at Parham/Henrico Drs. Hospital is a very caring group of professionals! Have had both knees replaced and back surgery through Ortho Love these folks.
Dr.Shaia is thorough in discovering what the problem is. I completely trust his judgement and knowledge in determining the course of action to remedy the issue. Dr. Shaia gave me a new left hip on 12/30/2019. Immediately after, I had little or no pain. I suffered for almost 2 years thinking I could cure my problem with PT, pain management and Chiro. Within 4 weeks, post-surgery, I had gotten off a walker and arm crutches. Best decision I have made so far! Dr. Shaia was professional and caring and followed up with me several times before and after surgery to assure I was following procedures.
Doctor Shaia and his staff did a great job of getting me through what we thought was a simple procedure for my knee that turned a little complicated in the end. I am especially happy about how this group always got me in to see the doctor within minutes after I arrived. Dr. Shaia is a good listener who always gave me the time I needed to get well.
Dr Shaia was great; he was very informative and easy to talk too. The nurse was also very nice.
Like his attentiveness to the problem and help finding a solution. Really enjoyed the visit
