Hands down the best veterinary care in Central PA! The staff, following Dr. Dana’s lead, does what’s best for my pets not necessarily the bill. I drive from Mechanicsburg for my dogs and cats and will never go to another hospital!
It's easy to get in and out of the building and staff helps "direct" if a couple of patients might not have a good interaction with each other. Everyone listens and does their best to make sure they've understood your questions. You do not feel like you're in a factory and our dogs are much less stressed visiting the Harrisburg Animal Hospital than other places we have taken them for medical care.
My dogs, cats and I have used Harrisburg Area Animal Hospital from when they first opened at their Derry Street office to the current Londonderry Rd location..... Dr Dana and her extended staff have always been kind and welcoming to me and my pet family... I appreciate a privately owned practice that focuses on the animals and their well-being... Just want to thank Dr Dana for taking extra care of my girl Penny Lane last week . I have been going to her for years now and her and her staff have always taken exceptional care of all my dogs. She is very reasonably priced and the kindness they all show goes beyond words. Even if it's just a call in to ask a quick question they definitely take their time to help. Best vet in the area !
I have had multiple dogs all my life and used quite a few different vets. Dr. Dana and ALL of the staff are fantastic. Most notably their compassion and consideration for their owners situations. I believe their pricing is very reasonable and worth every penny. While they cared for my girl Echo through her entire life, HSHA couldn't have been more supportive in the last months.
