Oh my goodness I absolutely love harpoon Larry's. Used to hang out back in the day when he used to be on the corner of mercury Boulevard and Armstead Avenue. Always had the most amazing seafood. In the atmosphere is above no other. always on the money. So if you're looking for some great seafood and a great atmosphere and definitely good service at a good price. I am suggesting harpoon Larry's. Thanks guys I will be back again soon. even my little friend from Denver cannot wait to come back again
We got the most awful service! We had to leave and take our 30+ year reunion elsewhere! Your loss Harpoon Larry's!!!!!!!
Loved this place! Food was great. Our server, Eric, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. Best place for seafood in Newport News. We will be back!
Best oyster bar in the area hands down. Awesome service. Can't say one thing bad about this place. Ur missing out if u have not sat down here. U have to sit at the raw bar at least once if ur a seafood fan.
I came here with my family and I have a shellfish allergy - crazy to be going to a seafood restaurant I know. Heidi was our waitress and she was awesome in checking with me first about cooking my food in oil that had also cooked shrimp or on a flat top that had cooked shellfish so I could change my order. I really appreciate her taking the time to make sure my eating experience was safe, even though it meant more work for her.
Here on vacation for a week. It was so good the first time we came back for their shrimp special a few days later. Even better the second time around! Excellent service, staff, and food.
Best she crab soup ever! Our server was outstanding. Will return as many times as I can while working in VA.
