Love the rum runners, but the food was even better! and awesome service. Love the raw bar, various options of oysters to choose from, and they shuck them right in front of you!
This place rocks. I had a pound of peel and eat shrimp as a starter for the table. I paid a little extra to get it peeled and deveined. It was cooked and seasoned perfect. I then tried the Captain's combo which was a fried crab cake, shrimp, scallops, and oysters. Everything was top notch from the food to the service. I also had an orange crush drink to wash it all down. The manager Vince was a cool dude. You could tell the staff rallies around him. My new favorite place in Newport News. A must try.
I will tell you this....I had dinner here last week with a couple of girlfriends! Excellent timing, wonderful service and great quality on the food! The atmosphere was exciting while peaceful at the same time. I will be back multiple times!! I have noticed some negative reviews here which coincide with an employee being let go. Used to love this place, but after hearing how Kim was treated I will no longer spend money in this establishment. Why support a place that doesn't even stand behind its employees? Had her quite a few times and was always more than happy with her service. I guess appeasing a dj matters more than keeping regulars happy.
The food at best is mediocre. There is a young blonde manager whom I overheard speaking poorly to the staff. A restaurant is nothing without their staff! Very rude as a patron to hear this, it's unacceptable. The she crab soup tasted like it it was out of a can. I would not go back.
I loved it but yall picked ashley at Z104 over kim one of the best waiters there
This is the second night in a row I've been here. Great food and great service. I will be back the next time I'm in town.
I haven't been here yet but I'm coming. My 5 is based on the amazing customer service that Brittany offered to the Z104 family when they had a rough experience. Great job to the Director of Operations! My next event will be with you!
First of all RICK is the baddest bartender in NN!!!! We had shrimp, oysters, dessert, corn, Sweet potato fries, bomb sauce and drinks!!!!!!! The food was amazing and customer service was we will be coming back!!! Thank you Harpoon Larry's !!!
