We bought our car from Jim Hardman in September 2015 and have had all of my scheduled maintenence done there. The Service Department is always polite. My only complaint about my most recent visit is that the price for an oil change went up $10.00 as of January 1, 2017.
These people are great. They got me the Yukon I wanted at the price I needed. Jody Bahin went above and beyond to make sure I (the customer) was happy. He even called me a week later to make sure the vehicle was still working and running properly and to make sure I was still happy with my purchase. They were 4 hours from where I live but so worth the drive. Praise the Lord some people do still care about customer satisfaction and not just making their wallets thick!!! Service department promised a loaner vehicle for me if I drive from Athens to have the vehicle serviced there. I arrived and Brittany said that wasn't going to happen. Very unaccommodating. I explained I had business appointments that I had to get to. Didn't matter. So I decided to go see the general manager. He immediately took care of me. However when I got back after being notified my vehicle was ready, I stood in the service bay for about 15 minutes where Brittany decided to ignore me. I arrived at 1 o'clock for a 1 o'clock appointment. Sat patiently for 3 1/2 hours for an oil change, and test drive to check transmission and power steering. I watched 7 men come after me, and go, cars serviced . As employees started leaving, I realized I was the only one there. They should be ashamed. But, if I have anything to do with it, JIM HARDMAN GMC won't get any more of my mommas money.
Purchased new car from Jim Hardman July 2015 believing that a local dealer would offer better customer service than one from the metropolitan area. WRONG!! OnStar notified me today that there's been a recall related to airbags/seatbelts not functioning since Sept 6 that I've not addressed. Jim Hardman sends me routine emails trying to sell me other service however, neglected to tell me of this safety issue. When I called, Mark told me it was GM's responsibility to notify me. Came here yesterday to drop my car off for repairs after an accident. My appointment was at 9am, but got there 10 minutes early. Got met outside, he went and looked at my car, we walked in, got a rental set up and I was headed home at 9:10am! Great and speedy service! Will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
