Try the 16 oz ribeye dinner with 2 sides. The best steak in Texas. You wouldn't expect that at a barbeque place but it is!
Little pricey but really good food come ready for some real Texans BBQ
I have eaten brisket, even make it myself, and this was the best BBQ I have even had in my entire life. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere just fine.
I Consider myself a bit of BBQ expert and I'm very good at discerning the good from the bad and anything in between. Hard 8 ranks in the top five in the country. The consistency of taste at different locations is unparalleled. The brisket is moist and flavorful, the ribs have a great chew when you bite into them. The jalapeño smoked sausage is second to none. Assistant General Manager Dillon Chamblee took care of us better than anyone we've ever run into at any dining establishment EVER! My dad is under going cancer treatment and we can barely get him to eat right now, so when he said he wanted some BBQ I jumped at the chance to take him to Hard Eight for his first visit. First time eating here...ribs where awesome. Meat was falling of the bone...will 4sure comeback when in Dallas...
The staff was the best part. Very friendly and quick at service. Food was great too. Loved the huge bean pot. Ordered brisket, ribs and sausage. All was good. Sides were a little pricey. $2.50 for a small cup. The only reason for a 4 and not 5 star was the expensive sides.
