I always bring out of town guests to Hard Eight and it is usually great. Last visit I was double charged for our meat and had to have it reweighed. I was given a refund but by the time I got back to my table and guests everything was cold. No apology offered, just here's the receipt for your refund. Ordered brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey, and poppers. Ribs were great but the brisket was dry and crumbly! Really disappointing for the price paid and trying to impress our guests with TX BBQ. First time to Texas, my husband was there for business and said we had to drive 45 minutes to get there. Well worth the drive, and we will make a point to return...I'm still stuffed!

Fantastic food, unique experience with a great atmosphere
Great BBQ! Never have been disappointed with the meals I've had! Would be nice to have To-go boxes as you get your meat weighed, instead of having to go inside, pay, and possible have your meal knocked from your hands. I can't wait to take my parents here when they visit!
