Awesome setup! – Whoever design this store I give A++. The place I used to take my dogs for daycare the rooms were just four white walls. The daycare rooms they have in here is made to look like the dogs are outside in a park. My dogs have been coming here for quite and while and I love the people who work here because they seem to truly take pride what they do and they love the dogs. Attention to detail++, friendly customer service – I just boarded my dog over the holiday and I found them to be very friendly and had attention to detail. They spent the time to get to know my dog and even gave me a report card of how my dog was doing! It is a great feeling to know I can check up on my dog on the webcam. When I couldn't pick up my dog on time they were accomodating and scheduled a complimentary bath for him. I would use them again.
Okay for daycare; wouldn't recommend it for boarding – I just boarded my lab at Happy Paws, and didn't come away with a very positive view of the facility. There were a few problems: 1) She needs to take a supplement with every feeding. I called in and alerted the staff about this fact before she got there, and also wrote it out in a note I gave them. "No problem, we'll make sure this gets done." Nope. Looking at how many capsules were left when she got home, they only gave it to her twice (out of 12 feedings). 2) We were ch... read more
Mojo recommends! A+++ – This is a great place! Love the employees, love the great prices, love the setup! They have trees, they have webcams, they have a HUGE space. Great great great, can't say enough about how wonderful the employees are! My dog loves them so much, it makes me guilty when I have to pick him up and he looks so sad to leave. LOVE this store!
Best dog store – I have been using their dog trainer and he is the best. Very professional, very effective. My dog is so good now I can't believe its the same dog! They also have a great store. Their stuff is prices extremely reasonable. I haven't used their boarding, but when I go away I am going ot definitely use them because my dog always want to drag my into their play rooms so he must know it is fun to be there.
Woof Woof! – My dog goes to daycare here almost everyday since they opened and I love this place. They have a membership and it gives you discounts on all their services. After the discounts, the price is less than most places in the city and that is amazing considering that Happy Paws is clean, huge and has webcams. Their groomers are also really great.
Best Boarding in NYC! – I have boarded and also checked out many dog boarding places in NYC and I am impressed with Happy Paws. I have never seen a place that does not stink when I walk in. I was recommended by my vet to use this place and when I walked in I thought it was just a retail store. Great Customer Service – My dog has been groomed here many times and always come back smelling great and looking great. The staff there is friendly and always remembers my dog. I see the dogs play in the rooms and they look so happy and having so much fun. I had a chance to take a tour of the place and was impressed at how clean and large the place is! Definitely recommended!
Best in the City – I have taken my dogs to other boarding places in the city before and I must say Happy Paws is by far the cleanest and biggest place I have seen. I can tell the owner really loves animals by the details that were put into making this place so nice. Been using them for a while and I like seeing the same employees there.
