A No GO – Took my 7 month old shitzu for a grooming @ this place and almost ended slapping one of the employees. There is just a lack of enthusiam in this place as well as manners. The problem betwen myself and the employees came about after i heard her slurring and mumbling some comments on y dont I just get a pair of scissors or something along with some profanity. This place is definately a no go, esp. if you care about tou dog. I can only imagine what goes on when the owners are not around...
Not so "happy" place – What a disappointment!!!! My fiance and I wanted to take our 4 month old puppy to the puppy kindergarten class at Happy Paws. When I spoke to them on the phone, they assured me my puppy had all the shots he needed to attend the class. When we got there, the manager we dealt with was beyond rude and disrespectful. I had the vet's paperwork to prove that he had all the shots he needed but because the vet hadnt checked off the specific shots, she wouldnt let us attend. It was clear in black and white that... read more
Very bad customer service. Very good grooming – I wwas excited to see a pet boarding location just blocks from my house. I brought my Brussels griffon there while i went on a end of the summer trip. First thing when I went in the people at the front desk did not aknowlege me for over ten minutes. They were lost in coverstaion and surfing the web. Finally a employee with a beard canem over and help me out.. This employee would end up being the only profeessi
Very happy with happy paws – I have been using happy paws for several months. I am really impress with how friendly their staff is with me and my dog. They have a guy name Alan there that is really knowledgeable. Each morning I drop off my dog, they come right out to greet me. I really trust my dog there because one time I made a reservation for boarding and did not realized the vaccinations were expired. They called me after recieving my email, they reminded me which vaccinations were expired and also went over my dog's fee... read more
Ignorant Management, Horrible Staff and Asinine Policies – Beware of the hype!! In spite of the warning I received from someone who worked at HP (they said to never bring your dog there especially during the holidays as the dogs are neglected and the staff will cram several dogs into one crate/kennel to maximize revenues). Anyway, after a conversation with Ben and faxing over the vaccination certificate, I brought my 4 1/2 month old puppy to HP for his "interview" today so I could board him. I cancelled all of my plans for t... read more
Excellent place – I have been using them for daycare and boarding ocassionally and I have had good experiences so far. Unlike the other place I have been to, Happy Paws is clean, spacious and has webcams so I dont have to wonder if my dog is playing or not. The employees have been very helpful and even waited for me to pick up my dog when i was running late from work. The bottom line is my dog comes home happy and is always looking forward to spend the day there.
Must check out – There aren't many dog boarding places that are built like happy paws. They have the dogs sleep and eat in their own kennels which gives me a peace of mind that Jazzy won't get into a fight if she is trying to eat her homemade food. I used them when I go away on busy holidays and it is great to know that when there are so many dogs there at the same time, she will have her own kennel to sleep in instead of constantly being bothered by other dogs. I have a older yorkie mix and she needs more down time so I can... read more
Stay Away – Worst grooming and customer service ever! My dog's head came back butchered - and the people were so rude. The guy behind the counter had so much attitude and gave me such a hard time, rolling his eyes when I asked him a few questions about the services.
liars liars liars – Im sorry but the bottom line is...they straight lied to my face...first of all i dropped off my puggle there for a day care, and hes been very depressed since my bf left town for a month, so i thought if he spent a whole day with other dogs(since hes great with other dogs) it would do him good since hes not eating very well...i did warned the staff that he might not eat all his food, they told me they would try it anyways, also i was warned that feeding time would be between 1230 and 230pm....well i was o... read more
