Best Grooming, Best Daycare in Town – I had to rush out of town and a friend recommended Happy Paws to me. I found them very helpful, they went out of their way to contact the vets and verify all the shot requirements and when there was something missing they offered to take my dog to the local vet to get the proper shots. Below average grooming – I have taken my toy yorkie to them about 5 times for grooming and never really satisfied. I always spend about 10 mintues explaining what I want done and arrive to pick him up to find out they have done the opposite. The first time they said the groomer was new and I never used him again but the last two times I used Jodee and was not happy. Marvelous! – This is truly a remarkable place. You have to have used other doggy daycare to appreciate Happy Paws. It doesn't smell, ever. They have people working there that is consistent, unlike the other place I've been. You can tell that Happy Paws was created by pet loving people. Rockin' Fun Place! – Great place! Buster loves to come here to shop for his fav toys. He spends most weekdays in daycare and loves all his friends. Very friendly bunch of staff. Clean and organized. Definitely recommended A++++++++
Overall best dog store in Manhattan – They have the best prices in Manhattan. They have a great assortment of things to buy. I love their groomers, they really do a fantastic job. I left my dog for boarding on several occasions and he has always come back happy and healthy. I have been using happy paws for the past year and I really like how consistent their employees are, they recognize my dog whenever we go in and I dont have to feel like I have to go over my requirements with new people.
SO SO. – I've been here about ten times for day care now, and I'd say the service is spotty for what you pay. I've been told that she eats heartily at lunch time, and then I find out later that she hasn't been fed at all. If you don't know, just tell me! I can't deal with the lying. I've asked about my 6 month Maitipoo every time I pick her up, and they say she gets better and better socializing with the other dogs. I look at the web cam, and it doesn't look like it to me. Best priced products & great selection – I have been to many pet boutiques in the city and have found Happy Paws to have most of the items in I have found in the higher end places and just find that their prices are 20-30% lower than the competetors. The selection is great and the prices beat everyone else. Nice staff as well and it's always a fun trip for me and my pooch! Thanks you guys for keeping your merchandise nicely priced!
Terrific place – This is by far the best dog store, daycare, grooming etc place in new york city. They have really great pricing for leashes and clothing, and the grooming is phenomenal. I also used them for boarding this past christmas and was truly impressed with how clean and happy my dog was. I have used other places for boarding and my dogs would come back skinny or smelly, but this time they really seemed to have a blast there.
