Update: Revisited Dr. Cermak several years after surgery. Still have pain and gripping strength issues. She is retiring or currently is retired now. I think I was one of her final visits from what the office said. I feel that's for the best because I have never felt more dismissed.... I asked for a letter to go over my condition and things we have done and limitations and I got a letter sounding as though I am completely fine. Dr. Cermak saw my daughter when no one else would make time for her after severely breaking her collar bone. She got her into surgery immediately and was so compassionate helping my 11-year-old through her recovery. And even removing the plate/screws a year later, she remembered her and was so gently and nice with her. She and her team are amazing!
