Could not have asked for a kinder, more competent doctor for my mother's knee replacement surgery. We are so blessed that she is in such capable hands. His bedside manner is excellent and he is so incredibly knowledgable. Thank you Dr. Hampton and your team for making her surgery a success!
Excellent doctor. He has done 2 hip replacement surgeries for me over the last year. I recommend him without hesitation.
RUDE RUDE RUDE Can I say more? Visiting him was a mistake! He needs to get off his high horse and listen to the people he is supposed to be helping.
Went to Dr Hampton for a second opinion concerning distorted walking after surgery for broken leg/hip. He listened to me, but obviously couldn't care less and whisked me out of the office. Told me leg (left-surgical) 11/2" shorter than other. Recommended orthotics. Never measured the leg. Orthotic person needed measurements (he does feet, but not leg length. Had to make another appointment. Dr still did not measure -spent 1 minute telling me that leg would have to be broken and redone and he didn't recommend it. Instead, wen... read more
Visiting Dr.Hampton was one of the worst experiences I ever had with a doctor. I came to him with complaints of back pain and knee pain to a point where I could barely walk. I was referred to him by my primary care doctor and was told that he is great. Every experience I had at his office was negative. The office staff are extremely rude and show no respect to the patients. I had to wait 1 hour before the doctor saw me. I found Dr. Hampton to be an all-around nice guy and also very knowledgeable. But even more importantly, I felt that he truly listened to me- to ALL of what I had to say about the problem I was experiencing. (The nurse kept cutting me off and not letting me finish describing my symptoms, so it was even more of a relief when Dr. Hampton came in and actually listened to the whole story.) The office in Rockville it is very bad. I went there twice and each time i waited more then 1 hour
Dr. Hampton asked me on my first visit what my expectation was for the total hip replacement that he was going to do. I told him I wanted my life back (walking my dog, going up and down steps without being in pain and being able to cut the grass) and that is exactly what he did. After six weeks I was able to go back to work at about 85% capability (I drive a truck for a living) and after 7 1/2 weeks I'm almost at 100%.
