We've been going to Hammock Beach for 6 years. The last 5 years, I would've given it a 5. This year, I can't. :(. I had asked for a front beach view or pool view. I was put in a room overlooking the golf course. ( it was closed, so dead and brown.) The did let us move the next day, but the new room smelled soooo bad and did not have enough seating. I do not like the new towel cards... you have to stand in line to get towels AND return them to get your towel cards back. The golf course is closed ( supposedly b/c of hurricane ... read more
Our family has been coming here for a few years. While checking in on Saturday, our concierge, Simon, in formed me that the resort is at 99% occupancy, and yet this was the fastest check in so far. With the resort at full capacity, we were prepared to wait for services. However, to our surprise, no delays, our pool service, was the best we have ever had. Every need was tended and beyond. Thank you!! Good job!!
For what we paid, expected a whole lot more. Parking was an issue for us as well. The resort appeared to be seriously understaffed - and even the resort employees voiced their frustrations with us ... waited nearly 45 minutes for drinks because there was no ice at the pool side bar... we were told only one bar-back for both outdoor pool bars... We've been here at least 4 times and loved it. However, since the hurricane last year they are focusing on the golf course and the restaurant that was flooded 8ft. and the poor hotel is below average. They need to improve a lot even the sad trash cans at the pool that you could buy at Home Depot for $20. Tons of nats at the pool, mildew around the pool, roof needs a lot of repair, chairs around the pool are the same as 7 years ago. Please fix her up and we will be back but not until then. So sad

Beautiful resort with everything you'd want at your fingertips. Super clean and relaxed environment right on the beach. It's a hidden gem.
Very disappointed in this hotel. The kids club is all they have for kids activities. If I wanted to drop off my kids somewhere, I would have left them at home. I asked what activities can we do with my kids they said none. Not even a game room. The restaurants are horrible, very dark and not welcoming. There is no kids menu or kid friendly restaurant, it's either a sports bar or a fine dining.
