The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in the lodge and overlooked the golf course and the beach. The lodge has been renovated and is super clean and beautiful! In addition the staff is superb! The only problem we had is everything closes early! The putt putt golf, the fitness center, bicycles, pools and the shopping boutique. We ended up having to leave the property to find something to do in the evenings. Upon arrival for the 4th of July we were not impressed that the resort had the fireworks the day before. The resort is very large, tons of stairs. We are Staying in the main building and it seems to be very dated. Our room has dingy sheets, dirty bathroom grout, frozen mini fridge, and not enough lighting. The cable continues to go out. The pools were not accommodating. Very few servers, overpriced food and weak drinks. One hour wait for a hotdog that was 9$. Poor design and layout of pool deck and stairs to second level. Nice property, service is average at best, spa was disappointing, food service poor and very slow, beach golf course closed, kitchen had roaches, refrigerator broke, great firework show....

Beautiful property with absolutely terrible service! We booked an ocean view 3 bedroom suite on a high floor. We have been here four years in a row and specifically confirmed a high floor. After driving four hours north to the resort we are told we have a 1st floor suite (bait and switch). As mentioned, we have three rooms booked for the fourth year in a row and will not be coming back. It is sad given how many families we have referred to this property over the years.
