This place has nice features, but it is not worth the money. The beach is beautiful to look at from the pool area as the contrast of the golf course, sand and ocean is picturesque; however when you get closer, the sand and ocean water are brownish and there are lots of rocks that really hurt your feet (I’m used to the white sandy beaches of the Florida gulf side, which are so much nicer!) I am so glad that we only planned a one night stay here and are checking out this morning as we are driving up the coast visiting different places. You can tell that this “resort” was once absolutely gorgeous. However it appears to have been neglected for some time now. The check in process was absurd. You stand in line for quite a while waiting to talk to a “concierge”. Then when you were guaranteed an early check-in they tell you the room has to be inspected still and call you right at 4:00 to go to your room. A room that ... read more
