Fantastic Resort!!
The staff was beyond friendly during check in... The bad part is it a little more run down than it used to be. We waited for over an hour for food by the pool. Went to dinner at a restaurant and they did not have a high chair for my child and kept telling me they were getting one and never brought one. So kind of disappointed in that aspect as they never let us know they couldn’t find one, which is weird...you would think they are a kid friendly resort they would have highchairs. Beautiful grounds, lovely beach and amazing pools.
Recently we took a quick weekend trip to Hammock Beach Resort. We were there to hang out at the pool and relax. When I checked into our room the furniture was stained and worn. We then went to the lazy river area and it was absolutely disgusting! The lounge chairs were covered in black mold and majority were ripped. The tables were filthy and the pavers had slimy algae/mold on them. I have tried contacting the leadership team several times but no one has returned voicemail messages. After a 4 day stay at Hammock Beach I can say I will not be going back.. the food at the pool was good but way over priced for what we got but even worse was the drinks we got that tasted like they had no alcohol in them at all.. the servers at the pool were super nice (Alexis and Olivia) but the bartenders need an education on pouring drinks.. our suite was nice but if your going to provide a "full kitchen" make sure there's enough utensils and plates to serve the full amount that the room will accommodate.. now back to the... read more
