Very sad/mad to know that they discriminate against people and their service dogs. Not to know/understand the law is one thing, but to refuse to learn about it from the person in front of you is just a disgrace. I will not visit again.
The community deserves to know about places of business that choose to discriminate against persons with disabilities. You need to learn and train your employees to see customers with tolerance and compassion. This place discriminates against actual medical alert dogs because the hostess is “afraid.” The manager and hostess both broke the law by asking for ID. If you’re a disabled vet, they won’t let your dog in. If you have epilepsy, they won’t let your dog in. Etc etc. Find somewhere that doesn’t break the law and discriminate, and spend your money there.
Discrimination against service animals is against the law! Just because someone is afraid or allergic is not a legitimate reason to deny a service animal, also they do not require an ID to enter an establishment. Plain and simple. This is horrible.
They are not educated on service dog etiquette and asked a legitimate service dog team to leave because she didn’t have an “ID” for her dog (which is illegal by the way)

This restaurant discriminates against those with disabilities who have legitimate service animals. As part of the US laws supporting Americans with disabilities, it is against the law to question why someone needs a service dog and there is no such thing as Service Dog ID.
