Message from H2o Sushi & Wine Llc H2o is one of those unassuming restaurants, where the word "sushi" in its title might make you think it is a plain average sushi bar.....but then one day your curiosity gets the best of you and you decide to stop by and check it out. As you walk in, you see a modern, casual decor, with the sushi bar front and center. Stools line the bar, where the owners and staff chat with the patrons while they create masterpieces of fresh veggies and fish as you watch, fascinated. You can tell that this i... read more

User review by bandolboy – Our recent visit was one of my best Indy-area dining experiences ever. All of the food, from starters through deserts, was made from fresh ingredients and was thoughtfully prepared. The home made ice creams were among the best I've ever had. Owners/chefs Eli and Nicole appear to have taken this Indy favorite to even higher levels. It's not inexpensive, but top quality seldom is.
New Owners - new items! – Has always been the best in town - new owners Eli & Nicole Anderson have brought a fresh feel with added cooked fish and the best desserts in town! Also try the Saki-tinis along with expanded wine list. Great place to hang out - Eli is an artist in food and Nicole will 'wow' you with her original ice creams, cookies, and other unique menu items from soup to desserts. Great people - good times! Bring your friends that think they don't like sushi - They will leave a fan!
Best sushi in landlocked Indy – I'm a frequent traveller and travel to many cities in the US where I sample some of the best cuisines. But I have to say that my recent dining experience at H2O Sushi was one of the best. The toro tartare (similar to tuna tartare) was delectable and the oysters were the freshest and most tasty although they were a little small. The contemporary metal chopsticks were a little tricky as I tried to get eat every morsel off my plate. The sushi was fresh and good. I can't wait to go back.
mmmm – H2O has the best sushi I've ever had. I like to sit at the bar to watch the chefs. If I ask, they come up with items not on the menu - what fun! And the desserts are wonderful.
The PF Changes of Japanese restaurants – This place is best described by calling it the PF Changs of Japenese restaurants. If your familiar with PF Changs you'll probably understand. It is decorated in a contemporary style, very nice, definately not in a japanese style. In fact this is an all americain restaurant in every way except that they serve sushi. Nice place, nice decorations. Die hard sushi traditionalists beware: They serve their miso with a spoon. The fish was good, and they go out of their way to make the place f... read more
