The woman answering the phone hung up on my husband multiple times when he tried to book an appointment; I suspect it was because he had a foreign accent. We went here last year and the service was great but we won't be back because of this recent experience. Very unfortunate for this business to have someone like that fielding calls.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER! I called today four times and stayed on hold for 35 minutes, 55 minutes, 1 hour and 35 minutes, and 1 hour and 39 minutes. The four times a person will talk to me and tell me "I need to transfer your call to another department" and put me on hold again until they hang up. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!

I called H&R block last Friday to ask them all the questions I could possibly think of about me and a friend of my'n filing taxes with them. I told them that I had 3 w-2's, unemployment and both stimulus that needed filled for. My friend only needed to file for unemployment and both stimulus. I was told at that time that it would be 60 something dollars and it would me 49 something for my friend. Run away from this establishment. I went in and the front desk woman advised me my tax advisor from previous years has been laid off. They insisted relentlessly that another advisor would be able to help me. Not wanting to come back again I attempted to do my taxes with a Victor Meyer at this office and he's done a terrible job at it. The man has no customer service manners, was incredibly rude, insulted my intelligence and my simple tax return said I owed the government over eight thousand dollars! I went to a H&R Block in Poplar Bluff, MO to have my Property Tax Credit Claim filled out. After it was completed I was told they do not electronically file them because corporate charged them if they did. I didn’t like it, I should have been told before we started or a sign posted. I live about 12 miles from this H&R Block, I went home and was looking at my return. My address was listed as Poplar Bluff, not the town I live in. There was no excuse for this. Just received some of the worse customer service from an older male by name of Wendell Wright the senior tax advisor at this junction city location. We set a 3pm appointment to have our taxes done via H&R Block for the first time ever. Wendell came out of his office multiple times and never acknowledged us. We waited, and waited to the point a random walk in without an appointment was called back before us. I have been waiting almost two weeks to write this review. Today is the 22nd of February and my taxes have finally been filed. I finished my taxes using h&r block’s website on the 12th of February. If you’re doing the math, that is TEN DAYS between me finishing my tax return and H&R block filing my tax return. Taryn M**** originally was my Tax Pro to review my return before submitting to the IRS. She called and asked if I wished to purchase Peace of Mind & identity theft protection for my dependents. I told her this was already paid for when I completed my return online. She wasn’t able to submit my return because on her end, it showed I had a balance due of $85, which would equal the cost of the additional protection we had previously discussed. I went to the H&R block near my residence in Alexandria. I was assisted by Robert Blades and was initially given adequate service. After we closed my return and i went to par, Mr. Blake informed me he would reduce my bill in line with a promotion they were giving. The promotion would reduce my bill by $60 and i was instructed not to pay so Mr. Blake could go into the system and correct my bill, but to my suprise my bill had already been payed.
