We had an appointment for 10 am on 16 March which we were they at 5 till 10. The receptionist did not welcome us due to being on the phone. I stood in front of her for 5 minutes before she acknowledged me. At 20 minutes after 10 I asked if she had told our tax provider we were there to which her response was "she knows, she heard yall come in". Absolutely DO NOT use these idiots! They took our check and e-deposited it and then ALSO deposited the check. We have been waiting WEEKS and it has not been resolved.. We have dropped off copies of our statements, deposited checks and then still have not given us our fees back. This is criminal at this point as all they keep says is "we cannot give you a check, corporate has to do it and go thru channels".. yet they have to take your money right away to provide a service! Please use someone else and avoid this company at ALL... read more

I purchased the H&R Block premium tax software only to find out that they are not supporting form 8915-F. I have been waiting for them to update the software with this form, as they supported the form last year. When I contacted them, they were pretty much like sorry, not sorry. They did not offer a refund. The software is useless to me, as I cant file my return without that form. I have wasted time and money.

Had my taxes completed at H&R Block and felt very uncomfortable throughout the process. The "Tax Professional" helping with my case did not seem knowledgeable and took three appointments to process my taxes (while also calling me at 9:30 PM on a Friday night with personal questions around my taxes). I accepted the tax forms provided (could not e-file) but was not confident with their contents and upon further review, found several errors that would likely have resulted in an IRS audit. ***** at the ************ ofc was the most incompetent and unwilling the di his job. Never return calls and did a power of attorney on my behalf and would not follow though. His words to wit: this is tax season and I am to busy to help, here is number, call yourself not my job. I am a 100 percent disabled veteran of 18 years. I was going to use H&R Block as I was unsure how to file married but separate. I sent over all my info and didnt realize it was going to cost half of what I was getting back in return so I ended up figuring it out myself and filing using turbo tax (which is what I normally do.) I filed Feb 4th, and now all of a sudden starting March 9, I keep getting phone calls from H&R Block in different states saying my file has been sent to them to help with my taxes. One of the worst customer service experiences ever. On hold for hours (over 3 hours) only to get representative who said "I don't know, I am just a CALL GIRL." Absolutely no knowledge of taxes nor the products they support. And yet the questions is so very simple. This company needs to go out of business as they are a real disservice.

I filed my 2020 return with H&R Block during 06/2021 which was not accepted by the *** (PIN issue). So, since I never got what I paid for which was the transmission of my taxes to the ***, I feel I'm owed a refund. Instead of crediting my account, or allowing me to refile at no charge, you simply kept my money. This is bad business, as there was no disclaimer provided to me at the beginning of the process, that this is your policy. I plan to take H&R to Small Claims Court for this.P. S.
