I decided, several years ago, to focus on treatment of arthritic hips and knees. Where appropriate, minimally invasive approaches are used, including the anterior approach to the hip. The focus of my team is to provide quality, appropriate, care to patients of all age groups and demographics. The hospital at which I operate has an excellent total joint program with outstanding Health Grades results.

Dr G and his staff treat you like a friend. They all care about YOU, your feelings, your thoughts. They will take the time with you to make sure you understand what the situation is. Mrs. G. Is such a sweetheart. I will refer everyone to see him. I will follow him where ever he feels he has to go. They are good people, and treat you as an equal!
Dr. Gunnlaugson takes the time to listen and answer your questions. Felt very comfortable and was not anxious at all about having my hip done. X-rays done and everything explained to me. Very pleasant. Entire office very efficient.
I had a total knee replacement. I was very pleased at the professionalism of dr Gunnlaugson. And every thing went great!
