Had to deal with a nurse who works here through my place of employment, she was snotty & rude, and we are short staffed due to Covid and she didn't care. You'd think a nurse who works at a hospital with growing cases would understand, but NO. You need to treat people with respect even if you are not at work, because it reflects your place of employment as well.

Business response:

Hi Jamie - Thanks for reaching out. We're very sorry about your recent experience with one of our employees. If you would like to speak to someone, one of our Patient Care Representatives would welcome the opportunity to talk about your recent experience. You can reach them by calling (608) 775-7676 or emailing them at CRFeedback@gundersenhealth.org. Thanks for reaching out and giving us an opportunity to improve.

Top quality care since 1988. Can't think of a department our family hasn't utilized over the years. Top notch care throughout. Thanks Gundersen!

Dear Gundersen, I'm very dissappointed in the way our account is being handled. One of your patients (will not list name here) was in a motorcycle accident on April 25, 2020. Two accounts were opened for this incident- one liability account for the emergency services he received and another account for his following visits. We were aware of the one account-the one that we now know is for the following visits only. We had assumed all charges were filed on the same account and have been paying them on time. I have called sever... read more

I went to an appointment today for an ear infection and was prescribed ear drops. The doctor told me that they may switch it depending on my insurance network, but did not inform me that this wouldn't be done after 5 pm. I went immediately to the pharmacy but it wasn't ready and I had to work so I left. My wife returned to pick it up after hours, but was told it was $300 and that they could not reach the doctor or anyone at Gundersen to change it to an alternative covered by Badgercare. I called several lines, was told I was... read more

Until now, I've never had a doctor or hospital refuse to acknowledge medical results when it was clearly documented in the imaging reports, let alone being treated as poorly as I was. To have to request your records because you didn't trust Dr. Cox's missed diagnosis, then to see for yourself (only after my own records request) that the issue was clearly found is frustrating beyond words. I've received nothing but excuses and utter reluctance to simply acknowledge and correct the missed diagnosis. I simply don't understand a... read more

The entire ICU staff went above & beyond trying to make the hell of loosing your sister in a pandemic less traumatic. Right down to a hair tie so I could braid her hair. Thank you a million times over to all the staff working under & with Dr's Webb & Kim.

I still haven’t received my test results on MyCare after getting tested. Nurse was 100% it will be on there but it’s been 2.5 weeks now. Please keep up with the MyCare program updates. Also to one of the Nurse who entered the wrong Covid test results incorrectly under my Dad’s information. That was disappointing.

Business response:

Hi Lis - Unfortunately, as more people meet criteria to be tested for COVID-19, quickly providing test results is becoming more difficult. This is happening across the United States. We are working with county and state health officials on ways to fix this. In the meantime, thank you for being patient.
