Never have power on. It’s been 4-5 times this month we come home to no power. A lil rain storm and they are out. Like today. Gezzzzzz. So over it. My generator works more often than the light company. Thank God we have that cause you surely can’t depend on GULF COAST CO PAY. LOL
I have lived all over the US. And have been on Electric coops several times. Bar none, GCEC is the most fragile infrastructure I have ever been connected to. What a joke. Electricity goes off every couple of months for one reason or another. If a thunderstorm happens just get ready for it to go out. And you jokers have kept a $400 deposit from me for almost 3 years and I am on an autopay.
my power is out again and they have a 20 buck surcharge since Hurricane Michael and a 30 dollar facility fee...thats 50.00 not having to do with electricity
crappy customer service. I have been waiting for 8 months to have my yard light fixed. I'm still being charged although they haven't fixed it. said I would be put on a list a couple months ago. how come it still hasn't been fixed but the minute I call to have it disconnected they show right up? They only care about them not losing money. They don't care it hasn't worked and are still making me pay. I even tried to get them to take it off my bill and they just said we will adjust it later!!? Every year the jack up the billing and the power keeps going off. They suck.
I have been a customer since 2014 and have experienced daily outages. This is absolutely terrible and is very frustrating for a family with small children. When we come home from work you can pretty much guarantee that the power will go out. The only time we did not have daily outages was right after hurricane Michael and that was because other electric company contractors came in and fixed our lines. Now we are back to daily outages in Clarksville Florida and we are now going to shop for solar panels! Terrible experience!
Worst experience ever!!! Have only been a customer since September 2018, but have experienced numerous outages monthly. Have asked to speak with upper management in regards to the total lack of information flow within this organization and have received 0 return calls. It appears our management has no desire to attempt to fix the problems?
