Dr. Gulati is a fantastic doctor. Unfortunately, the front desk will not discuss any scheduling questions, and all scheduling issues are forwarded to the voicemail of Ashley, the scheduler. My wife has waited five months for a returned phone call with no success. After going back and forth for many months, I have also given up. We will probably need to go out of network or to a different city to have our procedures completed. It shouldn't be this difficult to schedule a procedure with your doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Gulati for 20plus years and I have a plethora of GI issues and I wouldn't trust anyone else. The office staff is completely incompetent,but Dr. Gulati herself is definitely not. She is the best of the best. She is one of the kindest,caring doctors I have ever encountered and I have to see a multitude of specialists.
I have been an RN for 38 years and have a wealth of experience. Dr. Gulati is one of the worst physicians I can remember. She is rude, dismissive, condescending, arrogant, uncaring, unkind, and lacks what it takes to be a good medical provider. I waited 9 weeks for an appointment with this DR. they called me the morning of the appointment to tell me that she wouldn't be coming into the office that day and couldn't see me for 10 weeks after this. that would have been nearly 6 months of waiting on an appointment. that's absolutely ridiculous. I will be going elsewhere, no one should have to wait 6 months on an appointment with a DR. she completely wasted my time.
Dr. Gulati was rude and uncaring. This was my initial visit. Dr. Gulati rushed through my examination. She gave me no time to ask any questions. I found the office staff to be very helpful and kind.
Saw her while admitted in The University of Tennessee Medical Center (great hospital and nurses) but she was very rude and dismissive. Ignores evidence of conditions you have been diagnosed with for 10 years by several other doctors. She rushed through telling you anything. She was the absolute worse doctor I have ever seen while in the hospital.
Dr Gulati seems to be an ok dr if you can ever get an appointment with her. She always seems to be out of town. Her medical assistant rarely returns phone calls. The one time I’m assuming she did she only let it ring twice before hanging up before I could even answer. She never answered or returned a call from me after that. worse experience I have ever had, She is rude, does not listen and or doesn't care what you think. She just wants to do as many test as your insurance will pay for. I had to wait two hours for her and then her excuse was sorry I got behind. Her staff must have a promise of never getting fired or has gone thru special training to be rude along with the doctor. Would never go there again. as a matter of fact she alone has made me avoid all UT doctors.
Dr. Gulati is a very professional, intelligent and caring professional. She is always patient to explain everything and she is one of the most intelligent, up do date doctors that I have ever known.
