San Antonio's ONLY Mexico City Kitchen - The MEX without the TEX. All our dishes are cooked in water, there is no lard, no grease no starches or flour in any of our sauces or soups. Instead we cook everything daily from SCRATCH, using only the freshest vegetables, meats, fish and a large variety of chiles. Chile is what gives our unique dishes their individual flavors. Have lived in Texas for a little more than 20 years. First time trying birria since moving from Los Angeles. It was good just a bit too spicy for my taste.

The place was great. My waiter was amazing and had a great personality. He was very attentive.
Was in San Antonio recently and my Son in Law took me there. The food was great, but the salsa for the chips was out of the world. You just don’t get that level of heat in SLC, UT... next time Guajillo’s, next time.
Granted this is an authentic Mexican restaurant but there was no alcohol in the margaritas, no burritos or enchiladas on the menu, and the hottest salsa I have ever tasted that burned my mouth. We'll go to a good Tex Mex restaurant next time.
