I fell in love with the chilaquiles lunch special with beef alambre and the fideo soup is to die for!

Chilaquilles with chicken is to die for. My friends and I make it a point to stop in when we roll through San Antonio. Usually though we just suck it up and make the 45 minute drive from San Marcos to enjoy the delicious grub.

First time in from Houston. It was good. Salsa didn't taste homemade, chips did but just not enough of each. I ordered the Bistec which was really good, tomato base sauce with jalapenos, home made corn tortillas, sliced avocados. Good dinner, rice was kind of funky, beans were good. Waiter and owner checked on me. I did order a Top Shelf margaritas, waiter said they would have to give me the shot...never got it. Rita's were good besides. I'd go back.

Sopa azteca and mole verde zucchini are amazing. I will dream about that soup until I the day I can go back and get it again. Just wear a bib because I can stain your clothes!
