About this business

San Antonio's ONLY Mexico City Kitchen - The MEX without the TEX. All our dishes are cooked in water, there is no lard, no grease no starches or flour in any of our sauces or soups. Instead we cook everything daily from SCRATCH, using only the freshest vegetables, meats, fish and a large variety of chiles. Chile is what gives our unique dishes their individual flavors. Guajillo's IS the Shortcut to Mexico - Your Tastebuds will tell you from the first bite just how unique and out of this world our flavors are.

Food was delicious until an eyebrow I found an eyebrow at the bottom of my plate. Worst part is that waiter had notified the owner/manager but he never came to talk to us. When paying for our meal his answer that is was my eyebrow and that he had been in this situation before. My first time there will be my last time. Unbelievable an owner/manager would have a response like that.

You literally have to ask for limes, salsa, that has to be in abundance in a “Mexican” Restaurant

My first time having authentic Mexican food so use to TexMex. i ordered the pulled pork, Yacutan style with refried beans, rice & spicy red onions with fresh guacamole. The pork was juicy & tender every spice blended wonderfully. Reccomend having it with a grapefruit margarita to wash it all down! The service is excellent too. ..very attentive. Great 5-star dining experience!
