Dr. Ross Penland and the entire staff at Growing smiles are absolutely amazing!!! We have never had anything but excellent service. Just to describe our most recent visit: my son informed on Sunday night he had a toothache and it had been hurting for about a week(and we leave for the beach the following Sat) so I called them on Monday morning and they worked him in at 1pm to check out that tooth. Serenity loves going to the dentist. Everyone is so nice and friendly.
Hands down this is the best kid dentist office in Hickory!! We recently just changed over to this office and have no regrets. Everyone in the entire practice always has a smile on their face and talk to you no matter if you are their patient or not. Just an overall warm feeling. My daughter even said after her visit that she loved the place and couldn't wait to come back!! Thank you all for making this practice #1 in our book :)

This office is wonderful. I was a little nervous about taking my child but they made sure we were both at ease. Easy check-in with smiling faces, clean office, knowledgeable staff and quick checkout. All staff were loving and gentle towards the children. Very impressed with this office. The best part is they seem to always be on schedule. If all doctors office were as time respectful (excluding emergencies) and caring as this one it was make life awesome. Lol. We have recommended and would definitely do it again. Love this office it's great!
My daughter has had alot of dental issues and surgeries...so naturally she was terrified to even get her teeth cleaned...first visit i was hooked....my youngest Isabelle would not even think about letting someone look at her let alone clean them...they both love Dr. Penland and his amazing staff..A huge thank you and gratitude for making my girls feel at ease....
