What a fantastic experience we had there today! The staff was extremely friendly and Dr. Penland was amazing with my son! Would highly recommend!
My son is 4yrs old now and we've been seeing Dr. Penland for a few years. He is amazing! Makes both the patient and parents comfortable. His staff is very patient and works well with children. We highly recommend Growing Smiles! ♡
Dr. Penland saved the day for my son and has totally turned around my son's fear about going to the dentist office. When we first took him, he wouldn't even let anyone clean his teeth because of previous bad experiences. Now he even looks forward to seeing Dr. Ross, so much so that my son reassures his little sister that it is so awesome to go to the dentist and she doesn't have to be scared at all. We love Dr. Penland. My girls used to hate going to the dentist. But now they don't mind it. He is so gental and kind. And he takes Medicaid too.

We absolutely love the ENTIRE staff at Growing Smiles! Our oldest son has Aspergers and the staff put him completely at ease! He loves it there, as do our other two boys. I can't say enough positive about this group of wonderful people!!!
