When we were in search of a pediatric dentist for our kiddos, we asked Facebook friends who they would recommend. We received an overwhelming response for Growing Smiles :) Our daughter has only been once, but she absolutely loved it. What's not to love about a very kid-friendly staff, wearing sunglasses and watching television during your cleaning, and getting a big bouncy ball at the end! She can't wait to go back! Next time, she'll be taking her 3 year old little brother along as well :)

I recommend all my friends to take their children here, I absolutely love growing smiles. I had tried out 5 different dentists and had a problem with each one. Finally found you guys and even my son loves coming to the dentist now! Thank you guys so much(:
Best dentist office we have ever visited! I have a special needs child and two other children and they are great with all three and make sure that my special needs child is comfortable and happy! Kids love coming in!!
Took my two year old for his first dental exam at Growing Smiles! He did Awesome!! From the moment he walked in the door he was so excited to be there. From the kid friendly waiting room to the farm animals all around and the movie screens on the ceiling, this place is impossible not to have fun at! The highlight of his visit was getting to put his coin in the ball machine and getting a new ball! We can wait to go back in October for his checkup!

Though my kids do not go to Dr. Penland's office, I still get to see another side of him. I get to see him in the OR. He is always courteous and kind to the staff. He always has a smile on his face, a "hello" when passing him in the hall, and a laid back attitude. If he is always this way to the staff of the OR, i could only imagine how he treats his patients and their families in the hospital/office and his staff within the office. Thanks Dr. Penland for being who you are!!
