The owner is beyond mean. The only way to shop there...carry your things to the register, accept his price, pay and never speak, period.
I selected two tea olives that were marked at $99. The owner wrote the ticket for me to bring to the register and he listed the trees at $ 139. I let him know that the sign said $99. He immediately walked over and removed the sign saying $99 and said if you don’t want them I’ll take them out of your truck. I commented that he must understand why I expected the trees to be a lower price. He became very angry and repeated they he would take them out of my car. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The store is a mess of plants and trees scattered throughout mud piles. I feel the Owner is an obnoxious bitter unhappy man with 0 customer service and female employee must have taken lessons from him. Do not believe there Warrenty they do not stand by it! Could have sworn I left a review years ago...maybe not. I've been nothing but pleased with my plants and experience shopping here. I've been coming for 4/5 years. We've since moved to Charleston but are in Charlotte often. When we are in the area, we always make a stop to pick up a new "baby" and pet the kitties �
How does this place stay in business? Called to see if they stocked a certain flower and after I tried to explain what I wanted , the man who answered the phone said “I stock so many things I can’t keep up with them” and hung up on me. Seriously???
Believe it or not, this is one of the best nurseries around as far as finding a bargain. Prices are fair and selection is bountiful. Been going here for the past 10-12 years. The mean old crabby guy is a hoot!!! It is just his personality. I know he gets a kick out of it because I asked him one day if he knew people were talking about him and his bad attitude online.
