Well as far as burgers go, I really liked the grog burger, I've had it a couple of times, and it may be the only thing I eat there, bleu cheese on a burger, is religion to me but that's just me. Maybe you'd like to try something else, such a diverse menu. If they set you up next to the fireplace it's a bonus. But watch out for the ghost at the upstairs bar Bon Appetite!
It was awesome. Great food great drinks. The fall clean up is a great beer on tap also.
Great food, good service and wonderful atmosphere. On my must go to list in Newburyport.
Was not impressed with the food the last time I was there
We've been going to the Grog for over 30 years! Remember when they had Ariba upstairs? Anyway, they still have the best Sweet Potato Burrito around and I've always enjoyed the many specials of the day and regular menu items. My wife always gets the burrito and I get something different every time. Point being, everything they serve is great so I never hesitate trying different things! We love this place!
