Food and service was good. Surprised the a gluten free menu with many choices.
The food and service was amazing! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
We visited today. 21 minutes before we ever saw a waitress. Another 20 minutes to get drinks and she never bothered with us again. Apps but no plates, didn't check on us, couldn't order anything else, and finally got hostess to get the check so we could get out. Horrible service. 1.5 hours for 1 drink and 2 apps.
Great varied menu, lots of beers on tap and ALWAYS buck a shuck oysters!!! We go often and will continue to do so. Can get busy on weekends and holidays, so be prepared.
Love this place. Been coming for years. Anyone who "hangs out" in Newburyport always finds themselves at the Grog. Clam Chowder is better than anywhere. Decent selection of beers on draught. Great food. Never had bad service. Can't go wrong.
There should be a separate star rating for food and service. The food was good the service was great! We had a lovely young girl taking care of us who was very sweet, efficient, and personable. If you are going to the Grog ask for Tori!
Busy Friday night and Bobby took care of our party of five like a pro! Didn’t wait long for cocktails. Good came out correctly. Very attentive and personable. Great service. Thank you, Bobby!
