Chicken salad sandwich made me and my friend sick. Good service not so good on the sandwich!
This is one of my favorite places. Moved to Wimberley from California in 2015 and I've eaten at Gristmill many, many times. It's the place For family celebrations and place to take out of town visitors. Service has always been A-1 and food delicious. We always sit out on the deck overlooking the river. Doesn't get much better than that!!
Our steaks were the best we've had in a long time! Cooked just the way we ordered. Very friendly staff! We ordered the strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was delicious! Never had it the way they made it but will from now on!
Wonderful staff, great surroundings and delicious good. Had a really enjoyable lunch w family.
We eat at The Gristmill often. LOVE the good. We were there yesterday and we were sat at a table that had not been cleaned. We asked if the the waitress could wipe it down. After rolling her eyes and with sigh of disgust she attempted to clean the table. It was still sticky and dirty but oh well. After that, it went downhill fast. She was rude and not accommodating at all.She obviously didn't want to be there. I give the food five stars. The waitress 1 star!
love it very professional . service was very warm with the fireplace it was like home . my dad love it very much and place to go back soon .. Thanks for the Excellent service... that's is why we are going back .. Happy 2017 ..
Love being on lower deck...Table 79 is my family fav..This week we were at 82 ...Seated after 15 minutes or so at 4.30 and the sound of the river and amazing sunset amazing...So much color..Great server, Tiffany...All ordered the shrimp and sides..So good...Great evening..Good band in waiting area
First time here yesterday very different, fast service, nice outdoor seating. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak not as big as I thought it would be, but very good.. would recommend it. My husband order the T-bone and it had no flavor so he won't get that again.. would try this place again and try something new. :)
We LOVE the Gristmill . Since we are retired we always go when they first open and get great seats on the lower river. Try their onion rings, baby back ribs and filets.., all to die for! Great was to spend a relaxing afternoon�
