If you want baby back ribs that fall off the bone then that's the place to go. Great outside dining right next to the Guadalupe River. It is my number one place to go.
We had an awesome experience at the Gristmill yesterday! Great table by the water, beautiful weather, exceptional service, and the food was wonderful.

Maybe an off day, or wrong cook in kitchen, I orderd Ribeye steak... no flavor... looked like it went from cooler to cast iron skillet. It was well cooked, just no flavor.
I liked the food but not where we were seated. Sorry the entry way should not be used. The floor is so bad that every one that is going to be seated is taken through there and it moves and squeeks really bad. I will return but i will suggest to be seated else where.
My burger was great, friendly staff and nice scenery. We're going back.
This was my first time here and my last time here $18.00 steak that had no flavor. Way over rated but I did get a cold beer.
This is an awesome place. I thought this was a small place. When I got inside we walked through several rooms to get to our table. I think there must be 20 or so places rooms,outdoor and indoor seating. Food was reasonable, plentiful, and good tasting, they do it up right. Recommend to one and all.
We were there for a small birthday celebration and from the time we arrived and left, we couldn't have asked for anything more! View was spectacular and our waiter (sorry bad with names) was also great! Our glasses were never empty and the food was great! We will definitely be back!!
