Dr Raj Dugel is an ass Dr Raj Dugel is an ass. Rude, Arrogant and condescending.
Rejected to see my kid My kid was having eye irritation and was rubbing the eye before a weekend. Sine we had visited Dr Dugel couple of times in the past, we got an urgent appointment and went to his office at 4:15 PM on a Friday. We were told that our insurance was not covered and I need to pay for the treatment. I called my insurance and obtained all required data right in their office. DONT BE THE NEXT FOOL! This guy is a complete and utter quack. 1. Staff lies about appointments 2. Doctor availability is never what told. Wait times up to two hours 3. Doctor does not read charts carefully 4. Doctor care was minimal at best
I also was rejected by Dr dugel. I had heard from a friend that Dr. dugel was called in to fix a complication on her cataract surgery that had gone wrong. The doctor that made the mistake was my doctor (at that time). After hearing from other sources that Dr dugel was a very good doctor, I determined to see him for my cataract surgury. Even though it took 3 months, I changed insurance groups, found and went to a new primary care physician, told him I wanted to be referred to Dr dugel for my cataract, and he agreed. Arogant and rude!!! Was referred to Dr. Dugel after experiencing eye flashes. After waiting an hour was seen by an Optometrist, not an Ophthalmologist as the referral stated. After 2 hours was seen by Dr. Dugel who noticed I seemed upset. I said I wasn't upset with him, but his office. He said either way I should leave and see someone else!!! No attempt to learn why I was upset, no apology!!! When I said I'd be sure to let my insurance provider know how I was treated, he replied "Like I care".
Dr Slutzker is awesome! Dr Slutzker is amazing. He operated on my youngest sons broken leg when he was hit by a car. He was very compassionate to my fears and his leg healed perfectly. He also treated my other son for a elbow injury from sports. He was very very thorough. When nothing seemed to help my son heal he even recommended another orthopedic surgeon who specialized in hands and arms. Bad Staff at Dr. Griffin's office Horrible Staff. Bad reaction to medicine subscribed by the doctor, tried to get an appointment. Could not get an appointment the day. After four days of waiting, major attitude from the secretary. I would stay away from the place!
Stay Away! Stay away from this office! I had a horrible reaction to medicine given to me by the doctor. I could not get a follow up appointment despite calling many times. The staff was extremely rude. I could go on for many paragraphs about my experience but I will spare you, just stay away! The doctor is average but her staff is so horrible to deal with it is not worth your time or money.
