You bought me 5+ years of a pain free knee with the semi-annual knee injections and when these injections would no longer eliminate the pain due to my very active life style, the knee replacement you performed in November was outstanding. After only 3 months I am back riding my bike, taking long walks and living a pain free life. I cannot fully share how this has changed my life. Highly recommend Dr. Komenda and his staff.

Dr Komenda did a fantastic job on my partial knee replacement. He offered a variety of conservative treatments prio to the replacement so I never felt rushed toward surgery. His demeanor was fantastic and his staff were phenomenal. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Komenda has changed my life! I had two total knee replacements, ten weeks apart. They both went so smooth and perfect and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Dr. Komenda. After researching the need for surgery on my right knee I engaged the services of Dr. Komenda for a mako style robotic partial knee replacement surgery. Dr. Komenda's reviews indicated a high level of satisfaction by his previous patients and I now know why. If found Dr. Komenda to be very professional yet friendly plus his support staff mirrored these same standards in ever way. I am now 6 weeks post op emigrating to Portugal with the full confidence that my knee is fully rehabilitated.
Dr. Komenda's expertise was evident from the minute I met him, through my surgery and my post-op visit with him. His manner is low-key which put me at ease about having surgery to repair the tears to the meniscus in my right knee. I tend to joke out of nervousness, and I was grateful that Dr. Komenda had a sense of humor, chuckling at what I said. He explained my problem and the surgery he would perform, if that's what I wanted. I'm glad I opted for the surgery because my knee is much better.
I have had two partial knee replacements with Dr. Komenda. In both cases, he thoroughly explained the procedure (he used the MAKO robot), recovery times and how to care for knee in the long term. I have great confidence in his judgement and capabilities. My knees are much better and the pain I experienced daily is gone. I highly recommend him for knee issues.
