I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Komenda. The cause to see him was a bummer, (Blown ACL), but he was always straight forward and honest about the procedure, what the expectations were, and the road to recovery. They also were very accomodating in getting me into surgery as fast as possible. I'm post-op 9 months, my knee is feeling great and I look forward to an awesome summer, thanks to Dr. Komenda. Thank you!

Was already in system, however when confirming appt had around 60 questions to answer about current issues and history. When arrived for appt, another 2 pages of same questions. Then once roomed - same questions again. Front desk person demonstrated a lack of interest in greeting and getting me checked in. In room, MA seemed on top of things, ordered x-rays and quickly finished getting me prepared. X-rays done. And saw doc within another 5 minutes. Very pleased once roomed. Front staff person was only glitch in addition to m... read more

After years of avoidance (exercises, brace, etc) and fearing it, I finally had not choice but to consider a knee replacement. My knee was a real mess. Only now do I really realize how bad it was. After going to a few docs and considering reviews I went to Komenda. I was extremely scared based on prior surgery experiences. I can for a fact say he did a incredible job. He let me stay awake during the surgery. He showed me the parts and told me what was going on. He explained about the damage I had to the bone and more. I could... read more

I HIGHLY recommend NOT going here, and definitely NOT seeing Dr Komenda or his associates. I am so glad I sought other more trustworthy medical advice and did not proceed with an unnecessary MRI and even worse an unnecessary and antiquated surgery! Take note if you go to the waiting room - almost everyone was on crutches or in a boot fresh off a surgery... Surgery should be a last resort, and only done when neccessary, Not rushed into if you don't need it! I am so appalled at their lack of good patient care that I just filed... read more

Dr. Komenda did an amazing job of helping me visualize (with drawings) what the procedure will look like, as well as what the damaged parts of my shoulder looked like. Putting all complex medical terms aside, Dr. Komenda was able to explain the damages to my shoulder in the simplest terms! I truly appreciated this and it gave me the confidence to trust him for my first ever surgery.

When I called to schedule an appt I was amazed and so grateful to be given an appt that afternoon! I felt confident and relieved after the consult wth Dr K that with time and PT my injury (torn rotator cuff)could heal without surgery. He convinced me to get moving and working to resolve my adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). He referred me for 8 wks of PT.

I saw Dr. Komenda in March 2020 to evaluate and recomend the best plan of action to repair tears of two tendons in my right shoulder rotator cuff due to a bicycle accident. My exam was very thorough and included evaluation of a MRI xray and questions about my personal goals for recovery and activities. Dr. Komenda has a plesent manor and extensive knowledge and experience with rotator cuff injuries that gave me confidence that with proper treatment, I would gain full use of my right arm. I highly recomend Dr. Komenda for tre... read more

Analytical, prepared with and considering all the data previously available X-ray, MRI Dr Komenda inspired me with trust and an educated, experienced decision about my shoulder injury. He will not attempt surgery unless that would be the right thing for the patient. He previously did a surgery for my husband and found the root of a problem in a complicated case that is not that common. I highly recommend Dr Komenda.

Knowledgeable and professional but felt very rushed. Low score because front desk check in was extremely rude.
