It’s great to see respectable groups like this Council award such deserving student athletes.
The decision of the Augusta Sports Council to repeatedly ignore the achievements and excellence of the University of Florida’s Johnny Townsend is inexcusable. It demonstrates either a dereliction of their duty to recognize the best punters in college football or a bias against a young man who has for years been among the best punters in the nation, or possibly both. Amazing company, love the work and what the award stands for
This is due to the fact that they are impressively inept at producing a list of top punter. Displaying carelessness in overlooking obvious and critical statistics. Instead going by bias and made up standards. Who ever made this list obviously wasn’t logical. A Logical person would of put all of the Statistically top 5 Punters on the list. But I️ guess that just makes too much sense.
