Trash organization. The utter bias to not include the nations second best punter and leader in average yards is absurd.
The bias is astounding from this council. Absolute joke of an award to not even include johnny Townsend. TRASH!!!!
The Ray Guy award is an accolade that recognizes a player for their academic standings, team leadership, self-discipline, and the teams success; it is not just an award given out for the length of the punt. To go along with that, please refer to the stats of the return yards Florida has allowed on punt returns. Continue the great work, Augusta Sports Council. Your finalists are deserving.
I think it's unfortunate that some fans forget to remember that this award is based off other categories than the length of the punt. One of these other categories include punt return yards- Florida's punter has allowed 300 yards of return yards, whereas the 10 finalists have a combined 342 yards allowed off of returns. Great job Augusta Sports Council, keep it up!
