Just spent 4 days in the hospital and I was ready to come home, but not because of anything I wasn't happy with at the hospital. The new rooms are wonderful. The nurses and CNA's are all just as nice and professional as they can be. The doctors are wonderful. Every one of them took time to explain to me what was going on, starting with the ER doc, and on to the surgeons and others involved. I have an appointment for my regular check-up in a couple of weeks, but they wanted me to have a mammogram before I came so they could have the results when I came for my appointment. I went today at 2:30 for my mammo, and at 5:30 the cancer center called to let me know my mammo was normal. They said they like to let their patients know as soon as possible so they don't have to fret so long waiting for the results. That was just the best thing that has happened to me for quite awhile. Nurses and doctors plus all other ancillary staff to great care of my mother who suffered a stroke. Thank God she got the clot busting drugs and walked out just 3 days later after initially being reported to have had a major stroke. Again you all are great and have an amazing hospital.
All the girls at the Center were great to work with! Sali, Amy, Sheila and Maggie made every day easier to handle with their smiles and joking. And Deb was a wonderful smile to greet you at the door every day!
While the new facilities are great, the best asset to the hospital is the great staff! I just had my second baby, and both visits were great with all the support I and babies needed.
My husband has received such wonderful care here at Great Plains. The RNs have been the sweetest and most caring girls we have met.
