YOU really don't want to know what I think!!!� My daughter was brought in by ambulance last week and after running test they decided it was ok to send her home instead of doing the surgery she needed! Because of their incompetence my daughter became extremely ill and ended up in another hospital (which have been absolutely wonderful in taking care of her) she has had 1 procedure which could have been avoided and now getting ready to have the surgery that should have been done that evening! so instead an overnight stay she ha... read more

Have had many experiences with this hospital over the years, both personally and with family and friends. Yesterday I had knee surgery and I continue to say that Mercy Hospital (now Munson) is the under appreciated gem of the north woods! Keep up the good work.
Went there for kidney stones, which I am prone to. Pain was excruciating so I reluctantly went to the er. Big mistake. Was there over 5 hours and saw my nurse twice in that entire time, and the only reason I saw her the second time was because I pushed the call button and told her I was supposed to have 2 bags of saline iv. She said she knew nothing about it. Gave me pain meds without the iv push, which was useless. I ended up pulling out my iv and leaving. Dr was good, but nurse was non excistant. Not impressed at all. The health care I received wasn't to bad. But their billing department has their head up their ass that's for sure. And I hope those idiots read these reviews. Because you don't get kidney stones from a car accident you stupid retards. You get them from poor diet and bad drinking habits ( not enough water). Some people like me are just prone to them. All and all a very uneventful trip to emergency room. Had to have a fish hook removed from finger. Receptionist, Nurse, PA and Doctor were all attentive and nice. Other than a 2 hr visit,which put a damper on my Saturday and I'm sure there were more important patients I have no complaints. Thanks to all.
