I came in because of my asthma, they took a Covid test and flu test. I was the 3ed person in here and more people came in and everyone went in before me. I’m still sitting here waiting as non sick people go a head. They say I all depends on your illness that goes first, so everyone who went before me was not ill. I was the only one wearing a mask. Ive been here sense 10:45. Munson medical hospital is a joke. Go down state to hospitals who really care for the people.

Due to a football related injury, I recently had to pay a visit to the good folks over at Kalkaska Memorial. The situation wasn’t a great one. My toe was pointing in a direction it had never pointed before. I honestly had no idea what to expect. Were they going to need to amputate? Would I need surgery? Would my life be forever changed? While working for Law Enforcement we had taken an inmate to the Munson Hospital in Traverse City. I wanted to commend the ER staff - Dr’s , nurses , paramedics etc who we encountered. Excellent care and service along with awesome care. Our ER nurse was Emily Thompson who was above and beyond dealing with this inmate. She is a true asset to the hospital.

Worst experience ever. Made an appointment for 12, arrived at 11:30 to check in. It's now 1:00 and 7 people that checked in after me have been seen and I'm still sitting here. Offered to reschedule me. Why? So I can sit and watch people go in and out while I sit here? I will never use Munson again. I will bleed out driving to a Spectrum facility first!

I went to the Munson emergency room after fainting; which has never happened in my entire life. I was kept overnight for routine testing. Only one test, a CAT Scan, required high-cost equipment, everything else was low equipment cost testing; things I could get in a doctors office or a lab. I was given a low dose of standard high blood pressure medication and was told that often there is no knowable cause of fainting - which is entirely true and sent on my way.
