I had surgery yesterday at Grant. Very friendly people. A great experience.
My daughter was transferred to Grant from Adena Regional due to a spinal fracture. I wasn't all that fond of her night shift ER nurse but once we got to her room upstairs, every one of the staff from her PSA to Dr. Karras was absolutely wonderful! My daughter can be a little difficult with the typical teenager attitude but your staff took it in stride and delivered excellent care.
I had the unfortunate opportunity to be set up , lied to, STARTED ME ON MEDICINE, THEN TRIED TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER BRAND, ALL THIS BEING DONE AND TOLD TO ME BY A 3YR. PRACTICING PRACTITIONER. WHO DOES THAT, THEN HE WANTS TO REDUCE MY HEALTH CARE TO $10.00 COUPONS. HOW DO YOU TRUST PEOPLE WITH YOUR LIFE, PLAYING GAMES WITH INSURANCE VERSES COUPONS
If it were not for the excellent and professional staff at GMC I would not be here to write this. On June 16th I showed up via Medic 204 having a massive heart attack. Not only were they waiting on me but they were thoroughly prepared. 2 ER docs accompanied me straight to the Cath Lab where Dr. Devakas was waiting with his staff. In just minutes he had opened my LAD and RCA and placed stints. Next think I know is I'm in my room not having any pain and feeling like nothing had happened . Since my last review was deleted. Your facility is by far the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. Our little hometown hospital obleness which isn't worth much themselves provides much better care and are very prompt compared to your staff. You guys let a patient lay in a bed for two weeks doing absolutely nothing for her besides a little bit of pain medicine that didn't even help, a trauma patient who had never been seen by the trauma team until a week after her stay there.
