I lived at grand oaks twice, most recently was this past year. My second experience was much different than the first. The apartment complex is well kept and clean. I love the walking path around the pond. The gym is nice and big. The pool is clean. Location is convenient. But we did have multiple problems that will most likely prevent us from moving back in the future. From day one our air conditioner ran non-stop. The apartment is good but few things every tenant has to be aware about. There is a fee of 2700$ for early termination. Which is understood, but the tenants also has to pay the 60 days rent post termination. This does not make sense. So the total amount it sums up-to is $5500 which is insane amount. Please be aware that this is not right, all apartment either you pay the termination fee or the 60 days rent until next tenant has occupied. But here they are double charging you. I am really enjoying my stay here at Grand Oaks at the Lake. My apartment is beautiful and up-to-date. It has a nice kitchen with new appliances, a large bathroom with a garden tub, a huge walk in closet in the master bedroom, a laundry room, nice-sized living and dining areas, a quaint screened in balcony overlooking some trees, and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy nights in.
