Not Something I'd Recommend. This place can actually help you and your pets if you have the money, but if you don't you might as well just go somewhere else. This place has absolutely no compassion for animals and will only help you if you can pay the ridiculously large amount of money for the vet bill.
A wonderful place to take your pet I have been doing business with the GI Small Animal Hospital since 1974 and I would not hesitate to recommend the facilities to friends and family. The building is neat, clean, and the people very professional.
Grand Island Small Animal Hospital is all about the money! I have been taking all 3 of my cats to this hospital for the past 9 years. Have spent hundreds of dollars on a cat in the past there. I was involved in a bad automobile accident 5 years ago and am disabled now, which is apparent. I live off of Social Security Disability and do the best I can for the two cats I have now. Very Concerned Vets I had to take my cat to Grand Island Animal Hospital as he was having problems breathing. It turned out that he had a tumor and at 17 I could not stand to see him suffering. The vet was so caring and concerned to help me make the decision I felt comfortable with. I have now switched all of my cats to Grand Island because I really trust their judgement and appreciate their concern!!
Grand Island Small Animal Hospital is THE WORST VET EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to Grand Island Small Animal Hospital and it was the worst visit ever!!! My dog broke her leg and I went there for an emergency visit when my vet was closed. They kept her all weekend and charged me for it too!! Almost 1200 dollars!!!!!!!! They placed a cast too high and 10 days later it almost cut her leg off. Grand Island Small Animal Hospital is so uncaring I think they totally suck and all they care about is money they have no compassion at all for an animal unless you have money. I would never ever recommend this place to any one. Some one should really stop and make this place stop ripping off people and putting their pet to death unless u have money and their uncaring staff. Oh that's right they are only doing their jobs. Horrible,Apauling I recently had to take my cat to GIAH after he was attacked by a dog. It was the worst service I have ever had in my life. I live maybe 20 min away I had no other choice but to take him there because it was late at night. They had me filling out paperwork while my cat was sitting on the counter basically dying. I sat and waited for the vet at least 45 min, mind you they do not treat your animal untill you sign the sheet. In General I find it disturbing how sadly misinformed many of these reviews are. There are people here stating that they are studying to be Veterinarians but who lack a basic understanding of the business, laws, regulations, procedures of practice and grammar I might add. Yes, When your pet has an emergency it's expensive, quite a bit more expensive than a regular office visit. This should not surprise anyone. a 5 star veterinarian I cannot say enough about DR. Harper and the care he gave my cat . He was so generous with his time, both in person , and on the telephone ..The staff was courteous, helpful and Dr. Harper is amazing .. if you need laser surgery for your pet, do not hesitate to go to Grand Island Small Animal hospital .
