Emergencies Recommended My boyfriend and I live a half an hour away from the hospital, but at 10:30 at night, there is no place else to go. Horrible,Apauling I recently had to take my cat to GIAH after he was attacked by a dog. It was the worst service I have ever had in my life. I live maybe 20 min away I had no other choice but to take him there because it was late at night. They had me filling out paperwork while my cat was sitting on the counter basically dying. I sat and waited for the vet at least 45 min, mind you they do not treat your animal untill you sign the sheet. really mad i recently had the displeasure of having to take my lab there after going to this vet for close to 30 years i was taken back by the lack of sympathy and care in the workers after paying well over $1000 for 1 nights stay x-rays and blood work i get a call the next day from them asking for over $500 more asking if i could be billed i was told no either pay or pick up your pet they now estimate the cost for care well i payed the estimated price and did my partonly to be given my sick dog back i will never ever go bac... read more
The Vet was very good 5 years ago but seems to be going in a very bad direction. miss diagnosed an easy call which made my dog suffer greatly. I could tell he had an ear infection. always scratching his ears and moaning/whining. the strong odor was filling up the room after the dog was there for some minutes. the doc, just checked it, after "Forcing them" to check. still couldn't smell the strong room filling odor and scooped the darkest wax out of his ears i had ever seen, didnt look at it any further just said how normal i... read more

6/25/2016. I woke up in the morning only to discover that my Dog **** was having great difficulty to stand up and walk. It seemed like he didn’t have control of his legs, yet he was not complaining of pain. I decided to take him to the veterinary, but my veterinary did not work on Saturdays. Worst Worst experience ever for my friend!! She paid for a private cremation & received a phone call from the doctor who said "'we cremated your grog with the "group" cremation, nothing you can do it about it now" it's one if the WORST vets in the Buffalo area!!! I would NEVER EVER recommend this place!!!
we have been using this vet for the past 2 years because they are convenient. the service and diagnosis for various issues have been good and that is as far as it goes. As noted in several reviews they are in it for the money and find multiple ways to pad and inflate the bill from reasonable to outrageous. They take the simplest issue and steadily layer one thing or another so the bill grows and grows and grows! Needless to say we are looking for a new Vet any recommendations welcomed.
So my kitten fell off my balcony last night, 3 stories. Took him here as it was only place open that was close. He needed a leg x-ray to make sure it wasn't broken. Ok I get it and have no problem with that as the x-ray would have been roughly $100. Yet for some reason there wanted to do a million other things Maki g the bill almost $800 just to tell us if his leg was broken before they could tell us how much more it would cost to fix him.
