Great Place To Take Your Pets I have been to several different Vets in the area and I have always been very happy with the care Grand Island provides. No, they aren't the cheapest in town, but I have great confidence that they will get it right and that the animals will be well taken care of. They have solved issues others vets couldn't figure out. Great Veterinarian With a Caring Staff I too am perplexed by the negative reviews. Around the time we moved into the area our dog suffered from allergies, breathing problems and chronic infections (among other things). Dr. Harper and his staff have help solve all of these problems and are actively participating in preventive care for our dog. We have avoided many unnecessary procedures and excessive costs thanks to GISAH. Our dog actually looks forward to visiting when we go!

Grand Island Small Animal Hospital is GREAT I am perplexed by the bad reviews as I had a very good experience with them. I called them concerning my 2 year old beagle. He had eaten something he shouldn't and we were concerned about a blockage. My vet (for 9 years!!) gave him drugs to calm him down so I could muzzle him as he is terrified of strangers. Highly Recommended I've use GIAH for almost a decade and refuse to use anyone else after a string of very bad experiences. They are great for emergencies, the prices on medicine and service is on par with other vets and I have never had a single problem. When my puppy split his canine tooth up the middle and had to have it surgically removed, they gave me a very detailed estimate, told me what items were optional AND gave me the name of another clinic (which wanted to charge half the price of the surgery estimate just to see... read more
