This historic gem holds the secrets of a town whose mining industry is long gone. I had the privilege of a long tour with the new owner, Jim, who has a passion for history and his customers. The hotel is tastefully remodeled and offers an atmosphere of history and comfort. I look forward to seeing the staff next year as they feel like lifelong friends.
Post remodel review, an excellent place to stay, and eat. Spent a night of our anniversary here and completely enjoyed the whole.experience. Buffet breakfast was great, evening chicken fried steak was one of the best I've ever had. Only minor negative was a shortage of electrical outlets to recharge batteries, so take along a power strip and you'll have nothing to complain about.

A neat ol' property conveniently located right on the main drag. Nothing fancy, nothing outstanding but I love the old joints so I'll be back.....especially since they have a bar right off the lobby.
Not what I thought would be. Very outdated and yes I know it's old but the attempt to update is a bad 70's
This hotel is disgusting!! The tub is black around the edges and looks like it is going to fall through the floor if I even look at it wrong. The beds are sunken and the bedding looks like they bought it from a thrift store. Wall paper is torn and dirty. Everything just looks dirty!! I can see why this room is not on their web site. Yuk I'd be better off sleeping in my car.
