The resort is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. We attended the lighting festival and plan to make this our annual tradition. My only suggestion is to add ramps for strollers/ wheel chairs throughout the resort. Getting through the resort to reach an elevator still required going up and down stairs. Being pregnant and traveling with a 1 year old, that got exhausting carrying the stroller up and down flights of stairs. But aside from that, our experience was amazing!
I love the Grand Geneva Resort! It is always an amazing time! Great food, wonderful ambiance, and the most comfortable rooms. This is the first time we were there for the lighting of the Christmas lights and fireworks. Great show and display! Will definitely be back next year!!
Festival of lights was a true family event! Second year in a row. This one bigger than last year. Plan on coming back next year with more family members.
We were a little bummed, we stayed at Timber Ridge and came specifically for the Illumination Ceremony. The flyer that was handed to us at check in stated that Santa would be available for picture until 7pm, turns out he stopped at 6 when the ceremony began. Overall it was a good experience though and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely beautiful inside! Lots of people there for the illumination ceremony! The fireworks were awesome! Next time I recommend lighting the tree with bright white lights so it’s more stunning when they turn it on. It was kind of lack luster lol. The inside is beautifully decorated.
Grand Geneva lives up to it’s name!! The room was beautiful, the Christmas lighting and fireworks were fantastic. We had dinner at the Chophouse and the steaks were definitely prime. The only complaint I have is our waitress was quite condescending. But then there was Chandler..he was helpful, funny and sweet. Will definitely return
What a beautiful place to go to get away from the everyday bump and grind! Super friendly staff, very festive, worth every penny! ��������
